About the author

I write about the parts of love that rarely get said out loud: the quiet hope, the one-sided devotion, and the slow work of letting go. My first book, Ooh, Love, Where Do You Get the Nerve!, grew out of real events and became a way of making sense of them in verse and story. I believe a book can feel like company. If you have ever loved someone who could not love you back, this work was written with you in mind.
